Chinese herbal medicine does not treat a label such as “anxiety” or “high cholesterol” with one fixed product. Two people with the same complaint are often given different formulas, because the pattern behind the complaint is different. A consultation therefore follows a consistent process:

Does Dr. Koh prescribe herbs for people already on medication?
Yes, but only after reviewing what you take. Some herbs interact with blood thinners, diabetes medication, thyroid medication and others, so formulas are selected to avoid known interactions, and your prescribing doctor should be kept informed.
Can I order formulas without a consultation?
